August 25, 1972 in Houston, Texas USA. I interrupted dinner, they were having pork chops and applesauce.

Stuff I know how to do:

Take pictures, Play “Blackbird” by the Beatles on guitar, “walk the dog” with a yo-yo, fly airplanes, make a mean lasagna, swim all four strokes in the individual medley, walk and play trombone at the same time.

Stuff I must do before I expire:

Learn to Make Photographs, land a float plane on an Alaskan lake, visit all 7 continents (OK 6, I’m not big on frostbite), become fluent in a foreign language, take my wife to see Lunch Lake in Wyoming, but most importantly, I must set a good example for my sons and provide them with a quality education.

Places I like to eat:

Rudy’s Country Store and BBQ, Saltgrass Steakhouse, Babe’s Chicken Dinner House, Double Dave’s Pizza Works, Chicken Oil Company (tell them Mark sent you, they’ll have no idea who you’re talking about), IHOP, The Great American Cookie Company, and anywhere that serves good steak fajitas.

Movies I like to watch:

Star Wars – the ‘original’ original trilogy (before Lucas “fixed” them), Stripes, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Pirates of the Caribbean, Kenneth Branagh’s version of Hamlet, The Usual Suspects, Caddyshack, The Right Stuff.

Music I like to hear:

The Beatles, Jimmy Buffett, Robert Earl Keen, John Denver, Frank Sinatra, Glenn Miller, 80’s Pop, Jerry Jeff Walker, Eagles, Classic Rock,pretty much anything on acoustic guitar and of course, The Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band.

TV Shows I don’t surf past:

Big Bang Theory, NCIS, Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
